Two clients in particular insist on using a version of Outlook that generates dats, so finding a trustworthy, simple, viewer with a clean interface is vital.I’m happy to say that I won’t be trying a fifth. This is exactly the lean, straight-forward tool I’ve been looking for to keep the work and engines of my small business turning over.

I just downloaded this app and it worked just as promised! I was able to see all of the files that were hidden in the winmail.dat! These were important documents. Thanks a lot.

You might want to add the fact that you can’t actually use this program unless you buy the “pro” version for $6.99. Without that purchase this app does nothing more than let you see the titles of the files encoded in the winmail file. You can’t actually download them. Basically, without paying them, it’s completely and utterly useless. Thanks for the waste of time.

Every PDF comes from an employee that is using win7 and the latest outlook which comes to me as a DAT. So windmill came to our rescue! It is economial and works seamlessly.

My customers keep sending me dat files that I can’t open. With this app, it’s very useful.

Instead of B.S.ing the buyer that its a free app just buck up and tell the truth that its 6.99 instead of letting prospective clients waste time trying to use the “free” version. -REALLY DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE

Ive been using this now for about a year and it is absolutely great! Before Winmail.dat File Viewer it was such a pain when Id get emails with a winmaiI.dat attachment Now with Winmail.dat File Viewer I simply click on the attachment and it opens. Never had a problem. Does exactly what you want it to.

Works very well. and its extremely easy to use on my Mac. I don’t worry about received windmiIl.dat files that send from outlook any more.

Every PDF comes from an employee that is using win7 and the latest outlook which comes to me as a DAT. It is an Acknowledged Microsoft problem. However. they cannot fix outlook without screwing you too many other things. so WINMAIL came to our rescue!! It is economical and works seamlessly!

This app is not free. The only function that works without paying for the pro version is reading the text of a winmail.dat file. Access to attachments in winmail files is only a feature of the pro app. Also, the grammar and spelling in the popup window for the paid version is atrocious.

Love that it views and OPENS the winmail.dat file. No in app purchase necessary. Works for me.

why do you offer you program for free if it’s useless without “going pro”. screw you

I downloaded the free version of this application to view a DAT file, which worked perfectly. However, I then purchased the in-app purchase (upgrade to PRO) so that I coul view a PDF attachment inside the DAT file. After purchaing the in-app upgrade, I was never able to access the attachment. I was only repeatedly asked to upgrade over and over again. I did attempt to restart, reinstall, and even repurchase the upgrade several times, but without any success. I will be contcting Apple for a refund of the in-app purchase as I currently consider it to be a fraudulent sale on the part of the developer.
